PJP Eye has successfully established a supply chain of raw materials that do not rely on a specific country. The supply chain for these single carbon batteries uses organic material which is ethically sourced from a diverse range of countries.

PJP Eye mass production of carbon batteries using an organic material such as cotton is a major breakthrough. Cotton-based carbon is seeing growing interest in the energy industry, especially as the need for innovation that looks to solving energy issues, sustainably and ethically grows.

Using our proprietary cotton-based carbon, we mass-produce organic carbon batteries developed from co-research with Kyushu University. Our patented technology is used by Labratory6 in collaboration with a range of partners to realize this technology potential.
- Mass-produced and commercially ready (Standard Cells: 3000 mAh)
- Rapid Charging: 20 min for e-bikes, 50 min for 1KWH power storage
(about 10 x faster than conventional Li-Ion batteries) - Life Cycle: SOH 86% at 8000 times –
expected battery life is more than 20 years - No-Risk of thermal runaway and explosion
- The negative electrode is made of organic cotton
- Nickels, Manganese, and Cobalt free
- Recycling of industrial waste like Bagasse and skin of olives (for Ver2)
- Both positive and negative electrodes are made of our proprietary plant-based carbon
- Current Development: POC completed
- Targeted Energy Density: 398 WH/KG
- Targeted Mass Production Schedule: By 2024
- Life Cycle: 8000 cycles SOH: 86%
- Rapid charging up to 10 C (3000 mAh standard cells)
- Made of industrial waste and achieve carbon neutrality
- Nickles, manganese, and cobalt free
- No risks of thermal runaway and explosions
- Solid electrolyte and Lithium free (ver2 by 2025)
- At scale, as it is made of simple materials with industrial waste, with its excellent material flexibility, dual carbon batteries will be the most sustainable and affordable batteries in the world.
- Potential applications include EVs, electric airplanes, flying taxis, etc.
Cambrian is an ideal energy solution for E-bikes, E-scooters, and other transportation products that use the sharing economy. Sharing services require access to robust, safe, and portable batteries. Cambrian has a leading edge in the sharing economy thanks to significant reductions in charging and replacement costs.
Using Cambrian, Labratory6 has developed a line-up of next-generation electrical infrastructure technology including power banks, portable generators, and charging stations. The portable battery called QuVe (shown above), has a 1.5 kWh capacity and can be charged in 1.5 hours from 1 kW of solar panels. Not only is this much faster than competing technologies, but the QuVe also has a proven battery life of more than 10 years.
Drones are at the cutting edge of technology and require cutting-edge battery technology. Cambrian is the ideal solution, having proven its ability to increase flight times by 40%. Furthermore, a key consideration for battery-powered technology is charging times, something that Cambrian has dropped to only 10 minutes.
Robotics is becoming a standard fixture in the operations of many businesses across a wide range of industries. Robotics, particularly when coupled with automation, requires a reliable and efficient energy supply. PJP Eye has seen exciting new applications for its batteries in this field and its Cambrian’s superior specifications are an effective way towards improving asset turnover.
Cambrian have a proven life of over 8,000 cycles, this greatly increases the resale value of Cambrian installed devices and can support the developing second-hand electric vehicle market. Cambrian’s proven ability to maintain a high level of efficiency at extreme temperatures making it the ideal battery for the tough climates many electric vehicles face.
Cambrian’s proven 8000 life cycles are nowhere more pertinent than in the use of satellites in space. Cambrian has shown to have 80% DOD and 16% degradation, significantly reducing frequency and cost of replacement. The durability and reliability offered by Cambrian is set to make it a key power solution provider for companies in the fast-growing satellite industry.
