We are glad to announce that PJP Eye Co, Ltd. became a supportive member of TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures)
https://www.fsb-tcfd.org/about/#
The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) provides consistent climate-related financial risk disclosures for companies, investors, lenders, insurers, and other stakeholders. The Task Force considers all risks associated with climate change and shares practical financial and other related industries’ information.
By the request of the G20 Finance Minister and Central Bank Governor, the Task Force on the Disclosure of Climate-related Financial Information (TCFD), which was established under the FSB, addresses the “risks” and “opportunities” of climate change. Published recommendations aimed to broaden the understanding and to disclose the financial impact.

○ Three hundred eighteen financial and non-financial companies, governments, international organizations, private organizations, etc. from 31 countries worldwide have expressed their support for TCFD (as of July 2018 *). Major Japanese financial institutions have also joined.
- It is expected that they will act voluntarily with their support.
The climate-related financial information should be grasped as a management system, and it should be disclosed together with the annual financial report as a subject of internal audit, etc. In addition to governance, strategy, risk management, other targets are used to evaluate and manage climate-related risks and opportunities emphasized as elements that have to be contributed by financial personnel.
Under climate scenarios such as 2 ° C warming, it is recommended to uncover potential management issues that companies may have from a previous approach and enhance companies’ sustainability.
